Safety National Recognized by Missouri Chamber of Commerce for Vaccination Efforts
Safety National’s St. Louis corporate headquarters has been recognized as a Silver COVID Stops Here workplace for achieving more than an 80% vaccination rate.
Safety National encouraged employee vaccination efforts by offering an on-site clinic for employees and their dependents, in addition to awarding paid time off to employees who voluntarily disclosed their vaccination status.
“We are proud of this incredible recognition,” said Mark Wilhelm, CEO of Safety National. “Creating a safe workplace is essential to protecting our company’s greatest assets: our employees.”
The Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry developed the COVID Stops Here campaign to celebrate workplaces that are leading the fight to stop COVID-19. Organizations that have achieved at least a 70% vaccination rate are eligible to receive a designation.
“Employers are playing a very important role as we work to encourage vaccination in Missouri. Safety National is helping set the bar for vaccination in Missouri by achieving Silver COVID Stops Here status. This is a great achievement, and we thank them for helping our state stop this dangerous virus,” said Daniel P. Mehan, president and CEO of the Missouri Chamber.
