Safety National Expands Field Presence, Promotes Dennis Zervos to Large Casualty Team

Safety National announced today that its Large Casualty group appointed Dennis Zervos to the position of Vice President – Large Casualty. In his new role, Zervos will be responsible for leading Large Casualty field underwriting operations for the Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States.

Zervos joined Safety National in 2009 in conjunction with the opening of the Company’s newly-established New York regional office. Since joining the company, Zervos has created a strong foothold for Safety National, acting as the lead Large Casualty field underwriting presence throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic territories. In addition to maintaining his long-standing broker and risk manager relationships, Zervos will also now be leading a team of Large Casualty underwriters to help deliver greater value to brokers and customers along the Eastern seaboard.

“As a result of his customer-focused approach that has earned trust and confidence, Dennis has established a well-known and well-respected presence in the risk management community,” said Gus Aivaliotis, Senior Vice President of Large Casualty at Safety National. “We are confident that he and his team of underwriters, focused on providing best-in-class service and flexible customer solutions, will position Safety National for continued success in the coming years.”

Prior to joining Safety National, Zervos held a number of increasingly-responsible underwriting and management roles with another prominent national carrier, eventually managing their casualty underwriting practice in New York City.
