Retirement of Mitch Neuhaus, Senior Vice President – Claims, Marks the End of an Illustrious Career at Safety National

After an accomplished career spanning over 40 years in the industry, with the last 32 years spent at Safety National, Mitch Neuhaus will retire as Senior Vice President – Claims on March 31, 2024.

During Mitch’s time at Safety National, he has worked his way up the ranks of the Claims Department, serving as Claims Analyst, Regional Claims Manager, Assistant Vice President, and Vice President of Excess Workers’ Compensation Claims. In 2017, he joined the Senior Management Team as Senior Vice President and became an officer of the company.

Under Mitch’s guidance, the Claims Department expanded significantly to accommodate Safety National’s diversification into new lines of business through the years. His vision and strategic planning were instrumental in restructuring the department, helping to reform what was previously a workers’ compensation claims operation into a multi-faceted department with the addition of new divisions to address medical management, liability claims, and cost containment.
