Mark Wilhelm

Mark Wilhelm oversees Safety National’s Executive Management team while also performing his duties as International Broker Relationships Leader at Tokio Marine. In his Tokio Marine role, he works with brokerage leadership to raise awareness of the Tokio Marine Group’s collective strength and expertise to help facilitate domestic and global solutions.

Mark joined Safety National in 1977, formerly serving as an Underwriter, Executive Vice President of Underwriting, Chief Underwriting Officer, President, Chief Executive Officer, and Executive Chairman. Mark became International Broker Relationships Leader with Tokio Marine in 2024.

Prior to joining Safety National, Mark was a Commercial Underwriter at a national carrier.

Mark is a regular speaker and panelist at various industry conferences, has authored numerous articles on workers’ compensation trends, and has contributed to various industry-related articles. Mark has also been recognized by several insurance publications for his work as an industry leader.
