The Memorial Day poppy distribution was coordinated by Judy Donati, who serves with the American Legion Auxiliary. Safety National made a donation to the organization, a combination of employee donations and a company donation. Those donations went to support the needs of veterans, military members and their families.
Safety National supported the St. Louis Metro Area Special Olympics Track and Field Day as one of the major presenting sponsors. In addition, 10 employees volunteered as buddies for the day, where they accompanied a special athlete to each event, on visits to Victory Village, and to the awards ceremony.
