Kids Chance

Safety National is a proud sponsor of Kids’ Chance of America, a charity that provides need-based educational opportunities and scholarships for the children of workers seriously injured or killed on the job.

Annual Guns ‘n Hoses

Police officers and Firefighters battle it out for a good cause in the 30th annual Guns ‘n Hoses event. This event raises money for BackStoppers, an organization that provides immediate and long term financial aid and support for the families of fallen Police Officers and Firefighters.

Variety Bike Build Event

Safety National volunteers spent a Saturday morning building bicycles at Variety Club’s “Bikes for Kids” event. Toolboxes in hand, volunteers built traditional bikes for disadvantaged children and therapeutic bikes for children with physical disabilities. Just in time for the holidays, over 200 excited kids paraded in to receive their bicycles.

United Way’s Battle of the Bands

Last Friday night, the Old Rock House was rocking again. The atmosphere was highly charged and exciting as over 150 Safety employees and contractors, family and friends gathered to watch the Battle and support the United Way. Safety National raised over $11,000 to benefit this year’s Battle of the Bands. Safety National’s band “Driven to Excess” took first place for the fifth…

Alex’s Lemonade Stand

In recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September, our employees hosted a fundraiser for Alex’s Lemonade Stand. We raised more than $2,000 to help this wonderful organization in their quest to find cures for childhood cancers.

Red Cross Blood Drive

Safety National employees rolled up their sleeves and opened their hearts to benefit The American Red Cross. Safety National employees graciously donated enough blood to save the equivalent of 183 lives.

Girl Scout Cookies for Service Members

Initiated by Safety National employees with immediate family and friends serving in the military, our Girl Scout cookie drive yielded over 200 boxes of cookies that we mailed to several relatives and friends stationed overseas for a little taste of home.

Holiday Light Recycling

Each year, Safety National’s Sustainability Committee collects holiday lights and extension cords for recycling. Employees bring in their unwanted items and they’re recycled instead of being added to landfills. A win-win for everyone!
