Safety National® recognizes the importance of being a civic-minded business partner to help strengthen the communities in which we work and live. We take corporate social responsibility very seriously, as reflected in our sustainability practices, volunteer efforts and year-round charitable giving.

Kids Chance

Safety National is a proud sponsor of Kids’ Chance of America, a charity that provides need-based educational opportunities and scholarships for the children of workers seriously injured or killed on the job.

Girl Scout Cookies for Service Members

Initiated by Safety National employees with immediate family and friends serving in the military, our Girl Scout cookie drive yielded over 200 boxes of cookies that we mailed to several relatives and friends stationed overseas for a little taste of home.

Holiday Light Recycling

Each year, Safety National’s Sustainability Committee collects holiday lights and extension cords for recycling. Employees bring in their unwanted items and they’re recycled instead of being added to landfills. A win-win for everyone!

Project Peanut Butter Luncheon

Each year Safety National sponsors a peanut butter and jelly luncheon to support Project Peanut Butter – a St. Louis-based initiative to feed malnourished children in Somalia. The stated challenge was that $25 can save a life. This year employee donation totals reflect the equivalent of 60 lives saved during our lunch hour.

St. Louis Green Business Challenge

Safety National’s Sustainability Committee was awarded the Champion Level Award of Achievement through the St. Louis Green Business Challenge. One of only 22 organizations in the entire St. Louis area to achieve this level, Safety National is committed to implementing environmental protection and conservation practices.

United Way’s Battle of the Bands

Mason Bee Houses

Our employee-led sustainability committee built and installed Mason bee houses on our St. Louis campus. Mason bees are very productive pollinators, each bee doing the work of 100 honeybees. Best of all, they don’t sting!

Safety National Day of Service

Gateway Dragon Boat Races

Two teams of Safety National employees rowed for charity at the annual Gateway Dragon Boat Races.
