Special Olympics

Safety National supported the St. Louis Metro Area Special Olympics Track and Field Day as one of the major presenting sponsors. In addition, 10 employees volunteered as buddies for the day, where they accompanied a special athlete to each event, on visits to Victory Village, and to the awards ceremony.

Girl Scout Cookies for Service Members

Initiated by Safety National employees with immediate family and friends serving in the military, our Girl Scout cookie drive yielded over 400 boxes of cookies that we mailed to several relatives and friends stationed overseas for a little taste of home.

Variety Bike Build Event

Safety National volunteers spent a Saturday morning building bicycles at Variety Club’s “Bikes for Kids” event. Toolboxes in hand, volunteers built traditional bikes for disadvantaged children and therapeutic bikes for children with physical disabilities. Just in time for the holidays, over 200 excited kids paraded in to receive their bicycles.

Project Peanut Butter Luncheon

Each year Safety National sponsors a peanut butter and jelly luncheon to support Project Peanut Butter – a St. Louis-based initiative to feed malnourished children in Somalia. Zoofari

Safety National volunteered at Zoofari’s 2015 event June 19th. Zoofari is the zoo’s biennial “Grazing Party” fundraiser featuring food and beverages from over 60 St. Louis area restaurants, as well as a silent auction and live entertainment provided by Kenny Loggins! For the past four years, Safety National has sponsored the holiday party for Pathways to Independence, an entity that supports, educates and empowers adults with learning disabilities to obtain personal growth and enhance social skills. Safety National sponsored a house through Rebuilding Together – St. Louis, an organization that helps low-income elderly and disabled residents of the St. Louis Metro area complete improvements on their homes. Red Cross Blood Drive
