Entry-level position with the objective to become accountable within a self-directed work team. Responsible for electronic reporting of workers’ compensation large casualty policy data. Accurate and timely electronic submission of Pre Proof of Coverage and Post Proof of Coverage transactions within the WCPOLS format.

Provide support for the team by complying with the statutory time parameters applicable to state and bureau Proof of Coverage for Workers Compensation.
Enter, monitor, maintain, and submit Pre and Post proof of coverage (POC) data via bureau websites for new, renewal, and endorsement transactions.
Monitor PSA Tracking to ensure all completed endorsements reported to bureaus
Comply with state mandated rules regarding submission of paper documents.
Monitor bureau sites for data acceptability, accuracy, credibility, rejections and other errors.
Process and resolve weekly error reports for WC bureaus.
Process and distribute weekly error reports for ALIR.
Successfully edit data to comply with quality standards and resubmits.
Comply with filing requirements mandated by state bureaus, and SNCC’s exposure to
Bureau and/or state imposed fines.
Review, analyze and resolve Workers Compensation policy criticisms to include the following:
Support functional areas of PSA Policy Reporting and other PSA Units in a back-up capacity.
Participate in the creation and regular maintenance of unit procedures, keeping others within department informed of updates or new developments as applicable.
Work with PSA Technical Operations Unit on issues that impact the Policy Reporting unit and other internal systems.
Identify errors that impact WCPOLS Reporting and work with PSA Reporting Manager on resolution.
Abide by Safety National’s policies regarding the nondisclosure of corporate business information, the protection of confidential and copyrighted information, and all precautions regarding data security.
Bachelor’s degree with little or no professional experience beyond college OR
Associate degree with 1 year of business experience and basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills OR
2 Years of experience in a business or administrative capacity
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Insurance designation is highly desirable
Strong Analytical/problem solving skills required
Must be able to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to work in a team environment and be open to change
