CLAIMS DEPARTMENT

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for various tasks related to: categorizing, imaging and processing incoming mail for Auto/GL, LPT and Primary WC.

Image Now duties for Auto/GL, Primary and LPT mail:

Open, date stamp and sort

Scan, QA and route claim file correspondence to respective Analyst

Forward appropriately to TPAs or claim file for handling

Scan and route all incoming faxes

Scan contents of disks received

 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare expense reports in Concur as directed

Maintain production reports as required

Back up to switchboard, as needed

Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Position requires an individual who is dependable, detail oriented, analytical, organized, and self-motivated with excellent technical and communication skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple items simultaneously

Must work well independently with the ability to take direction from various individuals

Participates in, and promotes a team environment with the Department and the Company

Proficiency in the use of Windows Excel, Word and Outlook

45 WPM typing speed required.

3 -5 years of office experience preferred

High school graduation or its equivalent

Prior document imaging and insurance claims experience preferred
